Riverbend Meats is seeking a Beef Sales Manager/Marketer for our new facility in Southeast Idaho. This position will not only be assisting the sales and marketing team but growing a business around a premium Black Angus herd. This position will work with a team creating opportunities within the marketplace, engage new clients, develop proposals, manage product pricing and marketing the brand through our many sales avenues. Accounts Development and growth of new products and volume are key to this role. Up to the minute market knowledge is critical in this fast-paced business.

Responsibilities:

· Prospecting and developing new client relationships.

· Consulting with clients on needs that includes product development and/or new product as it relates to retail, wholesale, ecommerce, and export of sales.

· Product pricing using Industry metrics and the understanding of premium and branded products.

· Resolving sales or delivery issues while maintaining and growing relationships.

· Expedites the resolution of customers complaints

· Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, plant management, and accounting.

· Potentially one to two direct reports.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Strong listening, presentation, and business networking skills.

· Attention to detail.

· Strong influencing skills, superior business acumen and negotiation skills.

· Extensive beef industry knowledge including pricing and cuts.

· Outstanding written and oral communication skills.

· Critical thinking, problem solving, planning and organizational skills.

· Fast paced industry requires fluid multi-tasking capability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
