We are seeking a Behavioral Health Program Director for our community-based programs.

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions is seeking an experienced Program Director for our Wilmington, DE office. This is an in-office-based position. Supervise our staff of office and field workers delivering services through the company's programs.

ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW:
Kaleidoscope Family Solutions (KFS) has been providing quality services to individuals with disabilities since 2004. Since our inception, we have focused on providing in-home and community services and support to qualified children and adults with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervise assigned staff by providing leadership to maximize department efficiency by administering company personnel policies and procedures.
  • Direct personnel activities of staff (hire, train, appraise, motivate, discipline, address complaints and resolve problems, leaves, work schedules, and assignments, recommend termination as necessary, etc.) while maintaining employee relations.
  • Educate staff in company processes: initiate, coordinate, and enforce policies and procedures to accomplish team/office objectives and obtain staff results by communicating expectations.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of staff: recommend and implement necessary changes, perform personnel reviews or evaluations, and documenting disciplinary and performance-related counseling or coaching
  • Responsible for meeting all financial and operational goals for the office or team by maximizing market penetration.
  • Develop and maintain a business plan sufficient to meet budgeted office or team goals. Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Obtain additional business through telephone and personal sales calls to prospective and active clients
  • Assign and distribute placement requests to staff: monitor the status of client job orders.
  • Monitor recruiting efforts, and direct and implement changes as needed to ensure timely filing of client needs.
  • Conduct daily prioritization and bi-weekly overview meetings to monitor progress on open job orders.
  • Review daily weekly and monthly billable hour expectations with each Services Coordinator.
  • Must fill in for staff positions when vacant or staff unavailable.
  • Review and comprehend all regulations.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience in the field of mental health/developmental/intellectual disabilities.
  • DDDS (Division of Developmental Disabilities Services) experience required (at least 1 year).
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
