PHINIA: Combustion-Technology Leader
BorgWarner’s Fuel Systems and Aftermarket business PHINIA is intended to separate from BorgWarner in late 2023
PHINIA will be a product leader in fuel systems and aftermarket distribution with balanced and synergistic exposure among Commercial Vehicle (CV), Light Vehicle (LV) and Aftermarket end markets, with embedded relationships with global OEMs and a focus on the global vehicle parc.
As well as being an industry leader in combustion technologies and chassis systems PHINIA will also be driving the transition to green fuels and hydrogen combustion by developing effective solutions to decarbonize the future of transportation.

Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Global Benefits, the Benefits Analyst will support global reporting, trend analytics, renewal tracking, benchmarking and information exchanges with vendors. The candidate will work closely with the Benefits team, local HR, 3rd party vendors, and HRIS on program set-up, annual open enrollment, data audits, cost tracking, and billing.
The candidate must have a high aptitude for accuracy, timeliness, and application of policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities
  • Maintains medical premium discounts between the health plan and 3rd party systems to calculate discounts.
  • Prepares reports to support global benefit analytics, cost trend, compliance, and survey for benefit programs.
  • Prepares reports on reward and recognition engagement.
  • Calculates annual plan premiums for open enrollment.
  • Resolves escalated benefit questions between members and vendors through knowledge of benefit programs and policies.
  • Processes benefit expense invoices.
  • Partners with HRIS, payroll, and benefits for new merger and acquisition benefit election changes and orientation delivery.
Compliance
  • Audits error files identifying trends that need attention and determines processes to rectify.
  • Works with the Benefits team and auditors on annual audit requirements.
Other
  • Coordinates biometric and other benefit events.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
