Job Summary:
Beverage cart attendants are responsible for providing refreshments and snacks to golfers on the course. Cart attendants play an important role in enhancing the golfing experience for golfers by providing them with cold refreshments and snacks while they play. They must be attentive, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Specifications:
- Outlet: Keystone Ranch, Keystone River Course
- Expected Pay Range: $10.63 / hour + tips
- If hired into a tipped position, guaranteed to make a minimum of $20 / hour inclusive of tips
- Shift & Schedule Availability: Part Time

Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Stocking the beverage cart: The golf cart attendant ensures that the beverage cart is fully stocked before and after shift with a variety of drinks, snacks, and other items that golfers may need during their round.
- Driving the beverage cart: The golf cart attendant drives the beverage cart around the course, stopping at various locations to offer refreshments to golfers. They must navigate the course safely and efficiently, avoiding any hazards or obstacles and produce a valid driver’s license.
- Communicate all necessary and important information with the food and beverage managers.
- Check IDs to verify customers are of legal drinking age and enforce responsible drinking habits.
- Ensures that all state health regulations are being adhered to.
- Responsible for various administrative tasks including maintaining par levels, submitting daily/weekly orders, and conducting inventory counts.
- Handling cash and credit card transactions: The golf cart attendant collects payments for the items sold on the beverage cart, either in cash or by credit card. They must be accurate and efficient in handling these transactions.
- Attendants will carry what the industry considers a “bank” of $35 provided by the individual.
- Providing customer service: The golf cart attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service to golfers. They must be friendly, courteous, and responsive to any requests or concerns.
- Assist in the training of new hires.
Job Qualifications:
- At least 21 years old, valid driver’s license
- Ability to be on one's feet for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Proficiency in reading and communicating in English required, Spanish preferred
- Previous experience as a cart attendant, or bartending or server experience in a high-volume restaurant - preferred
- Previous experience with a touch screen POS system - preferred
- Current TIPS certification in a nationally recognized program concerning service of alcohol or able to be obtained upon being hired
- Certification from the state Professional Food Handler Program or able to be obtained upon being hired
- Willing to work weekends, holidays, early mornings and or late evenings
- Able to multi-task and handle high volume service demands
The expected pay range is $20.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
