Position Overview:
The Boeing Company is seeking a senior Growth & Development Program Manager to join the team in St. Louis, MO. This position aligns with the United States Navy (USN) Government Services portfolio within Boeing Global Services (BGS) and will have responsibility for leading growth and development efforts for the P-8 and Autonomous platforms including MQ-25, MQ-28, and XLUUV. The ideal candidate for the position has past experience with Program Management, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), shaping and capturing new business opportunities, leading teams to include influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority, and collaborating and presenting at senior and executive leadership levels. The selected individual will be leading key growth initiatives on P-8 and Autonomous platforms, this include campaign pursuits, business case and project plan development, strategic investment development and execution oversight, implementation of innovation (to include Next Generation Product Support and Mission Accelerator) into existing and future programs. While the role is primarily focused on growth and new business, the selected PM must have an in-depth understanding and experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBPs), as the role is expected to ensure all newly awarded opportunities are structured to enable execution excellence.
Position Responsibilities:
Evaluates new business opportunities against program strategies and customer needs by maintaining close alignment with P-8 and Autonomous platforms executing Program Managers
Partners with Business Development to collaborate with cross-functional, customer and/or industry stakeholders to develop capture plans and business case analyses
Uses Program Management Best Practices (PMBPs) to shape opportunity capture to ensure all newly awarded opportunities are structured for execution excellence
Obtains senior and executive leadership alignment through regular reviews such as Campaign, Investment, and Gate Reviews
Ensures alignment of functional teammates to opportunity and program strategy and upholds accountability to timelines and commitments
Evaluates Mission Accelerator offerings and selects highest value solutions for Autonomous platforms implementation; documents results in all-encompassing implementation plan
Partners with P-8 program to smoothly implement planned Mission Accelerator solutions into ECP 6 Mod Program ahead of aircraft inductions at Cecil Field in Spring 2024
Oversees key P-8 and Autonomous platforms 2023 investment projects to ensure delivery on cost, schedule, and technical commitments
Partners with Business Development and P-8/Autonomous platforms Program Managers to construct future investment requests in alignment with future program strategic objectives
Excels at transforming ambiguous opportunities and strategies into executable plans
Domestic Travel may be required, up to 10%
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. Hazelwood, MO, Plano, TX, Seal Beach, CA, Tukwila, WA. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years experience in all program management areas, in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards)
3+ years shaping, pursuing, and/or capturing new business opportunities
3+ years experience integrating and/or executing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) work statements
Experience effectively leading teams without direct authority
3+ years experience leveraging business acumen effectively to manage cost and schedule
Ability to independently shape and execute ambiguous work statements
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1+ years experience managing or executing investment projects (such as IRAD, IAD, or Capital)
1+ years experience supporting the US Navy customer
1+ years experience supporting P-8 and/or Autonomous platforms programs
1+ years experience working with Next Generation Product Support (NGPS) or Mission Accelerator teams and/or solutions
1+ years experience collaborating with senior and executive leadership
Bachelors degree
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $136,850 to $185,150
