If so, the BH/DID Program Administrator role may be the perfect fit for you. This BH/DID Program Administrator position will join a team of passionate, dedicated, and committed staff members who work to support community-level change around mental health. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Directly administers contracts with supportive housing providers, and works to support and expand housing opportunities for adults with serious mental illness.
- Administers and works with community partners to expand homeless assistance programs.
- Be involved in housing issues related to the implementation of the Second Amended Settlement Agreement (SASA) by which adults with serious mental illness are assisted in transitioning to the community from Personal Care Homes and diverted from institutionalization.
- Provides technical assistance, direction, and coordination of Housing and Homeless Programs for adults with serious mental illness.
- Monitors supportive housing provider contracts for adults with serious mental illness.
- Administers the state’s Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) grant and other homeless assistance programs. Serving as both the State Point of Contact (SPC) for PATH and the SSI/SSDI Outreach Access Recovery (SOAR) Lead for the state.
- Serves as representative on the Kentucky Inter-agency Council on Homelessness Explore grant opportunities for housing and homeless services for adults with serious mental illness.
- Monitors, evaluates, and reports established performance indicators and measures associated with housing and homeless programs to comply with federal funding requirements.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Five years of professional experience in the administration or management of institutional activities, BHDID Central Office, community, or agency programs.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: A master's degree in behavioral health, disability or a health related field (such as human services, psychology, nursing, health administration, substance abuse, special education, rehabilitation, social work, sociology) will substitute for two years of the required experience.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional professional experience in the management and/or administration of a clinical or administrative program, program analysis, financial analysis, or general administration of activities within a facility/institutional/community setting or central office will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Working Conditions
Works primarily in an office setting within a behavioral health or intellectual disabilities program.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
