We have an exciting opportunity for a Bike Assembler to join our Olney, IL team. This position works Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, with occasional overtime.
Our bike assemblers are responsible for the efficient and safe assembly and repair of various bicycle models and other company products to include, but are not limited to; scooters, electric ride-on toys, wagons, strollers, and pedal carts.
Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Assists in manually sorting, inspecting, and stacking product to prepare for assembly
  • Diagnoses, repairs, and assembles returned/damaged bikes, following established procedures
  • Safely operates forklifts to unload containers, move, and transport products
  • Removes pallets from the return area and assist the Quality department with special projects
  • Continuously strives to increase working knowledge of the mechanics of various bike brands and other products
  • Ensures all assemble products are in good operational condition, safe, and meet company quality standards
  • Assembles, organizes, and tracks inventory of Sample products
  • Prepares Sample product for shipment and assists in unloading and loading company vans
  • Reads, understands, uses, and follows standard operating procedures
  • Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area
  • Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety

Education & Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or the equivalent required
  • Ability to read, write, and understand operating manuals and work instructions
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, with bicycle knowledge, preferred
  • Ability to build a bike from the frame up/out of the box, ready to ride
  • Correctly identify and install proper parts per build specifications
