Job Summary:

Supervises bike patrollers in assigned work area or station, including coordination of work projects, assigning sweeps, and general mountain safety and maintenance. This is a supervisory position for the bike patrol function, with direct reports. Responsible for hiring/staffing, scheduling, and performance management/evaluations. Also fulfills day-to-day responsibilities for the organization as needed, and is thoroughly familiar with all areas of mountain operations. Works collaboratively with other departments and outside agencies to maintain efficient operations.

Job Specifications:

• Expected Pay Range: $23.00 - $36.17 / hour
• Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time
• Skill Level: Team Lead

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides superior service to our customers (internal and external)
• Coordinates use of equipment, patrollers, and the execution of daily duties
• Trains patrollers in all aspects patrolling
• Responds to accidents and provides medical care
• Ensures all documentation for department is maintained and filled out properly
• Trail Maintenance, which may involve removing rocks, trees, whippers, and garbage
• Opens and closes bike trails
• Recognizes the need for and assists in Incident Investigation
• Achieves and maintains a high standard of medical training
• Understanding of the Bike Patrol Manual & Lift Evacuation plan
• Performs other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Able to withstand inclement weather conditions for extended periods
• Able to lift 75 pounds and carry it 100 yards
• Able to hike 300 yards uphill

The expected pay range is $23.00 - $36.17. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
