Billing Specialist

Job Title: Billing Specialist

Organization: Aggie Tech Energy Services, LLC - Midland, TX Office

Brief Description:

This position is responsible for invoicing customers, entering invoices into customers’ billing software, monitoring invoices for timely payment, and other account receivable duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Invoices customers for goods and services
• Enters invoices into customers billing software including OpenInvoice and Ariba
• Monitors billing software daily to ensure invoices are being processed timely
• Works with Sales Team to ensure timely payment from customers
• Resolves invoice discrepancies and disputes
• Prepares and distributes customer reports, as requested
• Prepares and maintains reports related to accounts receivable activities
• Assist with month-end activities, as needed
• Serves as backup to Lead Billing Specialist
• Assists with other account receivable duties, as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with team members
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Education and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Midland, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
