Gregory Funding is hiring a Boarding Analyst to join our team in Tigard. The Boarding Analyst is responsible for ensuring new loan portfolio information is accurately and consistently incorporated into our systems. This position provides the opportunity work independently as well as in a team environment, working closely with our Portfolio Acquisition, Analytics and Servicing teams.

Responsibilities:

• Collects, analyzes, and interprets information from multiple sources
• Validates and maps data into a consistent format to ensure accurate loan boarding into our systems
• Handles complex situations associated with service transfers, identifies root causes and determines appropriate actions
• Analyzes data discrepancies to board correct terms and provides actionable feedback to other business teams
• Coordinates and communicates with acquisition, analytics, and servicing teams
• Develops, uses, and maintains data integrity checks of loan data, including mortgage loan terms
• Acquires market knowledge, gains exposure and familiarity with issues affecting the business
• Performs ad‐hoc reporting and analysis to support the team
• Proactively identifies opportunities for efficiencies through the use of automation and reporting

Requirements

• BS degree, ideally in a quantitative field
• 2 + years of experience in mortgage servicing/operations
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Data analysis skills, especially using Excel and relational databases (SQL). Programming skills are a strong plus
• Creative research and problem solving skills
• Ability to understand & reconcile data with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines at the same time
• Strong sense of accountability and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative, multi‐tasking environment
• Understanding of financial and mortgage math preferred
