Job functions include:

  • Reconciling invoices, entering into quickbooks
  • Administration of CoConstruct estimating software (no previous experience needed)
  • Print checks and record deposits
  • Create invoices and enter bills
  • Reconcile statements
  • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts
  • Process 1099s
  • Vendor onboarding and paperwork
  • Complete month-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
  • Review ledger and balance sheets
  • Generate reports
  • Resolve problems or escalate as necessary
  • Work with CPAs to prepare tax forms
  • Assist with annual audits
  • Assists Controller and other departments with additional tasks as needed

This position reports to the Finance Controller and has regular meeitngs and interactions with senior management.

Requirements:

Qualifications Include:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Prior experience in a real estate related business preferred
  • Customer-centric with excellent relationship building skills
  • Detailed, well-organized, confident with superior communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and highly proficient in QuickBooks and Excel
  • Self-started with outstanding time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
  • Results-oriented with a high level of integrity, dependability, and a strong sense of urgency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
