The role of the Branch Manager is to guide and manage their team to providing quality service to members in account transactions, loan applications and new accounts. They must be able to supervise, motivate, coach and develop their team regarding all aspects of branch management. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BRANCH MANAGER INCLUDES:
- Provide strong leadership and development to the team within their branch
- Perform a wide range of transactional duties to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with high accuracy.
- Offer financial solutions to members.
- Assist members with all financial needs.
- Manage operational functions within branch including loss control, compliance, and member retention and audit standards.
- Take loan applications and process/close independently and accurately.
- Open new accounts and cross-sell all products and services.
- Keep accurate records of all transactions.
- 4-year college degree in Business Administration, Finance, or another business-related field
- 5 years of experience to include branch operations and a combination of experience in lending, deposits, and/or teller duties.
- All candidates must be eligible to be licensed to sell all necessary insurance products
- Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and member service skills
- Supervisory experience is a huge plus
