Who You Are: We are looking for dependable and charismatic individuals who love making connections with people, are warm communicators, and prefer staying busy. This key role greets and serves hotel guests breakfast items while ensuring accurate orders and happy experiences. Our new team member will also have:

· High School Diploma or GED

· 1+ years barista experience and some restaurant/food prep experience

· 6+ months customer service experience

· Computer entry and/or Point-of-Sale experience

· A positive attitude and affinity for the values of compassion, teamwork, and integrity

· Strong interpersonal communication & active listening skills

· Ability to memorize menu items and remember guest requests

· Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize

· Problem solving ability

· Ability to maintain a calm demeanor while multi-tasking or busy

· Valid Food Handler’s Card and commitment to food safety

· Ability to pass a background check

· Cash handling experience (preferred)

What You’ll Do: The Breakfast Attendant/Barista provides memorable hospitality to our valued guests! You will serve customers and talk to them, smile at them, resolve issues with them, and thank them.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

· Providing memorable customer service

· Maintaining health and safety standards

· Communicating ingredients, allergy awareness, and food cooking techniques to guests

· Entering orders with accuracy on a point-of-sale device

· Handling cash, swiping credit cards, and entering tips with accuracy

· Cleaning breakfast area counter and guest-facing areas of our lobby café

· Barista and food prep duties such as making espresso drinks, serving breakfast items, making breakfast sandwiches

· Stocking and organizing supplies

· Exceeding the expectations of our guests whenever possible

· Communicating lobby café needs to managers to create the best guest experience

· Regularly stand for long periods of time, bend, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
