Job Summary
This posting may be used to fill multiple vacancies.
This position has two main roles in the division: Budget Coordinator and Division Administrator.
Within the Budget Coordinator role, responsibilities include:
Forecasting, developing, and managing a $17 million budget
Manage and coordinate all division purchasing, receivable/payables, credit card, and requisition processes
Contract administration and record keeping
Within the Division Administrator role, responsibilities include:
Retention management for division records
Asset management
Assist with division conferences, and other projects
Assist with division intranet (Rspace) maintenance, updates, records, and statistics.
Provide direct administrative support to division managers
Coordinate disaster recovery planning

Minimum Qualifications
Only applicants whose resumes clearly demonstrate fulfillment of each of these minimum qualifications will be considered for this position.
Two years of technical or para-professional statistics or data analysis experience OR a bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, data analytics or a related field plus one year of statistics or data analysis experience.
Skill in analyzing and interpreting budgetary and statistical data.
Participating in and leading teams and projects.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Minimum qualifications that may be assessed during the interview process:
Skill in problem solving techniques.
Ability to:
Establish and maintain working relationships with co-workers and stakeholders.
Manage time to meet deadlines and multi-task with limited direction.
Present information in a clear and understandable manner.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with:
Managing budgets over $10 million dollars.
The Minnesota state government budget/policy processes and/or programs.
Monitoring, administering, and coordinating changes to vendor contracts.
Purchasing within Minnesota state government.
Managing small to medium size projects.
Advanced MS Excel functions.
Administrative support for large units/teams/divisions.
Physical Requirements
Requires occasional moving of articles such as boxes, accounting records, laptop computer, and portable printer.
Additional Requirements
