Concord Homes, a real estate development company building single-family and townhomes projects throughout Utah and Salt Lake Counties, is seeking a BuilderTrend/Construction Coordinator to work in our office in West Jordan, UT. Concord Homes is a multi-entity enterprise that functions in a fast-paced and sometimes complex business environment.

This position will assist the Construction Department with daily needs, with a focus on managing, updating, organizing and utilizing BuilderTrend. This will be a full-time position.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, can work independently, has experience with BuilderTrend or similar construction management software or has the ability to learn software programs and has basic knowledge of the construction industry.

Job Responsibilities

  • BuilderTrend Coordinator
    • Daily communication with the construction field team to update schedules
    • Daily communication with the construction field team on daily logs
    • Organizing & managing job file structure
    • Subscription and set up of subcontractors and vendors
    • Produce & distribute weekly production reports
    • Produce & distribute weekly customer updates
    • Training of subcontractors and vendors
    • Troubleshooting & assisting subcontractors and vendors
    • Job set up
  • Assist the construction field team
    • Check requests
    • Expense reimbursements
    • Document management
    • Job set up and close out
    • General administrative items
  • Maintain good professional relationships with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and financial institutions
  • Filing and organization of department paperwork as needed
  • Assist with all aspects of Construction department

Skills and Abilities

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of construction related experience required
  • Flexible and quick learner
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle a high-volume workload with flexibility and attention to detail
  • Good decision-making and problem-solving skills, with no hesitancy to ask for help when needed
  • Ability to handle work pressure and stress well, and communicate effectively with team during high-workload periods so projects or tasks do not go uncompleted
  • Ability to prioritize work and deadlines well, while pivoting for time-sensitive projects
  • Can work independently with minimum supervision Flexible and friendly personality

Technology Competencies

  • Mac proficient
  • BuilderTrend or similar construction management software

  • Dropbox

Education

  • High school or equivalent (required)
  • Military veterans encouraged to apply
