THE OPPORTUNITY

The Investment Research IT team supports the Global Investment Research business team at Cambridge, building and/or customizing best-in-breed applications to support our business needs. We are a small closely knit team, but we have a big and far-reaching impact. We have an exciting roadmap that will have tangible impact on the daily workflow of our business in the future and have the opportunity to try new things that have never been attempted before.

ABOUT YOU

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You understand how to translate business needs into actionable development work through requirements. You have a strong command of SQL and can use data to find the answers you need. You think through all possible edge cases and work with QA to share your wisdom. You can clearly state the assumptions you make and can explain the impact of each one. You can coordinate with multiple teams to facilitate cross-functional product initiatives. You wade through ambiguous problems and make them clear. You don’t settle for leaving things unresolved; you have the tenacity and patience to find answers to even the most elusive problems. You have a working understanding of the investment and trading processes or at least a passion for financial markets.
