JOB SUMMARY
This role is responsible for defining business rules and process flows for large cross-functional Spectrum Core projects. This includes but is not limited to documenting requirements and user stories detailing robust, high-level requirements for all impacted teams for all new work as well as requirements for enhancements of existing in-flight projects.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Acting SME on all projects assigned.
Responsible for eliciting, validating, verifying and documenting project requirements from impacted stakeholders.
Translate high-level business needs into User Stories to illustrate purpose of functional requirements, always with a clear and concise understanding of the customer experience
Responsible for a complete understanding of flow of a Core customer order from point of sale (supported by order entry tools), to rendering of services (enabled by activation platforms), accurately billing a customer (through billing systems and processes) and providing customer support (through troubleshooting tools).
Leads meetings and working sessions with cross-functional stakeholder groups to drive collaboration and positive outcomes.
Provide recommendations to management for critical, timely decisions.
Responsible for leading multiple projects simultaneously.
Ensures structure, content and integrity of all requirements artifacts are maintained.
Serves as a point of escalation to project managers and project leaders.
Responsible for performance reviews and analyst development plans.
Performs other duties as requested.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write and speak English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communication in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner.
Strong understanding of the customer life cycle, and how it is enabled by underlying systems and processes.
Strong organizational and time management skills - this position will be working on multiple projects with multiple customers concurrently.
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and manage multiple projects and assignments.
Ability to develop strong working relationships with peers and project members.
Excellent critical thinking skills.
Working understanding of Visio, Powerpoint, Excel, Word.
Detail-oriented; ability to analyze business objectives and goals on an investigative level
Partner with the QA organization by participating in daily defect review calls, test planning and strategy sessions. This role is expected to support QA, UAT, ORT activities and participate in pre-launch and post-launch activities
Ability to work independently with minimal instruction.
Maintains a positive, forward thinking professional demeanor under pressure.
Understands when to escalate to leadership.
Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Related Work Experience
Business Analysis experience or Cable Operations related experience - 3+
Telecommunications Industry experience preferred - 3+
Business Analyst or Product Owner – 2+
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present performance feedback effectively
Strong presentation skills with small-to medium-sized groups.
