Delta Group IT Solutions is partnering with Boston Battery (Interstate Batteries & 1800 Radiator) to hire a full-time Business Data Analyst with SQL experience.

This position will require the individual to work onsite at our primary client’s location (Boston Battery) in Milford, MA 2-3 days per week and at other assigned client groups in the Eastern and Central Massachusetts area (primarily Leominster to Boston area).

The salary is based on qualifications stated below and ranges $65K-$95k based on previous work experience that meets our needs. Only candidates in close proximity to required work locations will be considered. (MA, RI, NH)

About the position

The Business Data Analyst will be responsible for extracting data from SQL Server and other data sets. The qualified individual will use Excel, Microsoft BI or other similar tools to consolidate and organize the data into management and accounting reports and ensure they are accurate and easily refreshable by the end user.

Required Skills

• 3+ years solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL commands
• 3+ years advanced Excel Skills, including pivot tables, Macros, and external Data connections.
• 3+ years strong ability to communicate about basic accounting concepts (i.e. Financial Reports and Credits/Debits)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ERP System Implementation and Administration (NetSuite or Acumatica Preferred)
• General Programming / Logic Structures Knowledge

Nice to have experience with

• MS Power BI or equivalent
• Power Query
• Python
• PHP
• IT Technician

The SQL Server Analyst must be able to meet the schedule requirements and commute to assigned locations using their own vehicle. We will reimburse for mileage for any travel beyond normal commute to assigned Milford, MA location.
