We are looking for a business development coordinator located in our Houston, TX office as part of our Corporate Development group based out of our Golden Valley, MN office (a hybrid office/remote option is possible). Your role will be to go through the proposal process from receipt of a Request for Proposal (RFP) to final submission to client interviews.

What You Will Do:

• Support business development efforts primarily in Texas for public agencies: Cities, Counties, and TxDOT.
• In addition to Texas, support our corporate Business Development group with proposals nationwide.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver strategic business development solutions.
• Provide copy/design editing by proofreading content for grammar, fluidity, strategy, and messaging
• Develop materials, coaching techniques, strategies, and interview preparation to win proposals
• Set schedules and deadlines with each opportunity, track proposal results, and debrief on proposal wins/losses
• Other related tasks, as assigned

What You Will Bring:

• Ability to partner effectively with employees, especially those in remote offices to meet deadlines
• Excellent writing and content editing skills while possessing the ability to adapt to an industry-specific style guide
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and make independent decisions critical to job success
• Ability to participate in the development of develop a creative, forward thinking business development strategy
• Strong communication, organizational, time management skills, and ability to work independently
• Strong sense of ownership, responsibility and work ethic focused on providing excellent customer service while maintaining a balance between results and the needs of internal customers.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, business development mindset, excited about what’s next in infrastructure and seeing your work come to life!
• Strong background in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Adobe InDesign preferred, but not required
