Business Development Support Specialist Job at Environmental Noise Control

This support role is responsible for overall inside sales support of the business development team as well as support for ongoing marketing campaigns and initiatives. Responsible for understanding how our various marketing systems interact while being able to provide recommendations based on findings. Assist in managing marketing content on the company’s website, email marketing campaigns, trade show support, proposals and customer specific project communications as well as other special projects as assigned.
The position will work on projects ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders managing milestones, time frames, and progress. Review metrics and data and pull together reports and support analysis of data as needed. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of traditional and marketing as well as excellent communication and organizational skills, in order to handle multiple projects.
This position reports to the Area Sales Manager(s) in Longmont Colorado, with the following tasks and job functions for Behrens and Associates, Inc. Environmental Noise Control:
Responsibilities:
- Assist territory sales manager(s) to create and execute detailed marketing plans to achieve targeted sales and margin goal.
- Assists in updating content on the website copy, images, etc.
- Assist with generating proposals and budgets in a proprietary ERP system, as well as updating information in company CRM (Salesforce).
- Project management support of digital marketing initiatives including web and email marketing. This includes maintaining of a marketing calendar.
- Provide updates on performance against key performance indicators and benchmarks and communicate findings/recommendations to the teams to help support their success.
- Create and maintain schedule of trade shows and industry events, assisting with trade show presentations as needed.
- Actively participates in other marketing team activities and initiatives
- Conduct competitive research as well as keep-up-to date on industry trends
- Handle administrative duties for the Sales Management team, including maintaining CRM and ERP databases.
- Assist in communicating with clients on project specific information.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
- Seeking highly motivated and organized self starter
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Development (or equivalent experience) desired
- Experience with SalesForce is plus
- 2-3 years working on in a collaborative, marketing team environment
- Social media experience (strategy, planning, posting, and reporting)
- Proficient in Microsoft Products (Excel, Power Point and Word)
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn marketing application systems
- Dexterity to quickly change from one project to the next without missing a beat
- Commitment to producing excellent work under tight timelines
- Strong presentation, written and verbal communications skills
- Team player and collaborator, with a belief in the importance of transparency and communication
- Strong can-do attitude to jump in on projects as needed outside of scope of work.
