Summary

Altruis has a need for Business Intelligence Analyst with experience in data analytics and metrics optimization. This role supports the design, development and implementation of business intelligence tools and solutions. We are interested in furthering our data collection and analysis practices, so you will be responsible for establishing new policies, procedures and programs from the ground up. We are hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst to help us keep growing.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate customer data as it’s collected
• Oversee the deployment of data to the data warehouse
• Develop policies and procedures for the collection and analysis of data
• Create or discover new data procurement and processing programs
• Cooperate with IT department to deploy software and hardware upgrades that make it possible to leverage big data use cases
• Monitor analytics and metrics results
• Implement new data analysis methodologies
• Review customer files to ensure integrity of data collection and utilization
• Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Business Intelligence, or related field (preferred)
• Ability to understand and find appropriate applications for data and analysis results
• Experience integrating new software and programs to data services
• Capable of prioritizing multiple projects while still achieving deadlines
• Intermediate SQL query writing
• 2+ years demonstrated experience working as a Business Analyst, healthcare experience preferred
• 2+ years experience in BI and Analytics best practices, assessments, business processes, in-depth data analysis, requirements gathering, data modeling, relational and multidimensional databases.
• 2+ years experience with BI tools including reporting and data visualization
• Natural curiosity with a strong desire to learn, maintain, and apply knowledge of emerging BI&A tools, strategy, methodology, and general best practices.
• Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.)
• Experience with effectively writing, presenting, and communicating results to other teams in a matrixed environment

• Frequently remains in a sitting position at a desk to perform duties.

• Frequently uses the computer with fingers and hands for documentation and communication.
• Occasionally stoops, bends, or kneels.
• Occasionally exposed to outside elements when traveling for business.
• Occasionally required to push and/or pull objects.
• Occasionally lifts and/or carries objects weighing up to twenty (20) pounds.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive salary and incentive bonus commensurate with experience along with Fortune 500 level benefits.
