Position Overview:

Creates complex database reports based on the specifications and/or requirements of end-users. Provides analytical and technical support for complex requests, projects, or initiatives. Provides independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to evaluate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business, risk management, control, and governance processes. Is also responsible for participating in risk assessment and work plan development processes. Lastly, performs data validation to ensure reports are pulling all correct data accurately while achieving client needs as well as determining if programming is created and creates specifications for developers.

EDUCATION:
[Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma]

Bachelor's: Applied Statistics, Computer Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field or equivalent education/experience

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
5 years recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Proficient at understanding, communicating, and specifying user requirements.

Working knowledge of industry standards in order to properly support business requirements.

Technical skills in report writing and reporting tools.

Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with clients, IS team members, management, and executive personnel/staff.

Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as: executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.

Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify relevant concerns and factors.

Perform a variety of duties and often change from one task to another of a different nature with frequent interruptions and/or distractions.

Skilled in developing documentation at a technical and user level.

Pay Range: $45.80 - $68.70 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
