Zions Bancorporation is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join the Channel and Delivery Solutions department of Zions Bancorporation’s Chief Technology Office with a knack and curiosity it takes to prevent fraud using modern tools and creative thinking. We are a fast-paced technology team, dedicated to supporting the IT needs of Zions Bancorporation, a regional bank with divisions covering 10 western states. The BSA plays a key role on one of our agile teams, of a cohesive group that maintains and provides solutions for the company’s credit systems. We provide technical and application support for multiple operational teams by using dynamic fraud prevention applications, including PayPal, Pindrop, Lexis Nexus, FIS and others. In addition to we use our technical acumen to monitor and maintain our application uptime, pre-emptively provide solutions to mitigate risk, manage vulnerability patches, and machine learning model management. We work closely with the business, risk, and cyber security teams to place/monitor fraud prevention solutions within the Bancorp.

The successful candidate will:
Be responsible for various system functions, such as: incident, change, system and project management.

Be responsible for troubleshooting (and documenting) website, application, and user access issues.

Documenting and escalating incidents, as necessary.

Coordinating issue resolution and validating service restoration.

Assist in troubleshooting servers, data transmissions, and firewall access issues.

Manage various system functions, including change, system and project management.

Provide application support for internal customers at our Bancorp affiliates.

Ability to perform in a diverse team-based environment.

Perform application troubleshooting and make recommendations for improvements.

Work with vendors as needed to resolve issues.

Be responsible to facilitate new or enhanced change management requests and post change validations.

Be responsible for application and infrastructure monitoring, coordinating with Enterprise Technology & Operations and business units on assigning and updating system issues and changes.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field and 6+ years’ experience in business analysis, processes, procedures, project management, etc. or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.

Advanced knowledge of business systems and applications, incident and change management, project and system management.

Requires advanced analytical, organizational, trouble shooting, and problem-solution skills.

Ability to elicit, gather and analyze data.

Excellent presentation and technical and non-technical communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work with vendors.

Requires excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees.

Must be able to meet deadlines.

Working knowledge of various software programs, including word processing, spreadsheets, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with methods of funds transfer including (ACH, wire, electronic)

Previous fraud experience

Previous experience with data reporting and data reporting tools

Experience with apps and applications support with strong knowledge of setup and integration

Excellent communication skills

Salary Range:
Business Systems Analyst IV: $91,400- $101,500

Location:
This opportunity will be located in our brand-new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.

(We have a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home if you are within the Salt Lake City area)
