Responsibilities

· Ensure a secure supply of required materials / components together with category procurement

· Support, prepare and conduct negotiations to obtain highest feasible savings and whereas required closure of (local) contracts to document prices and capacities

· Support supplier management processes e.g. supplier evaluation, supplier development

· Contribute to implementation and ensure usage of global defined methods, processes and systems with the aim of a high process efficiency and process compliance

· Detect, document and implement saving potentials

· Ensure close cooperation with internal customers to ensure customer care and early involvement - procurement as business enabler

· Implement commodity strategies and providing input for the creation / update of those, considering local requirements and supplier performance

· Monitoring national and international market (market intelligence)

Education/Experience

· Basic technical understanding, strong commercial mindset.

· Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management or Relevant field

· Familiar with standards of the automotive industry (TS / IATF 16949) recommended.

· Procurement methods, processes and systems; Negotiation skills; Basic contract management knowledge; Basic technical understanding

· Lean Principles, Value Stream Analysis, E Sourcing, Total Cost of Ownership, Global Value Sourcing, Advance Negotiation Concepts, Cost Analysis and Optimization; Risk Management

· SAP MM, MS Office

· Strong social competence because of the variety of interfaces; Assertive
