We cater to the professional and amateur cake designers of the area and nationwide through our online supplies store.

Among our activities and services, we conduct baking and decorating classes for adults and children. We also run day camps and activities for children, teaching them the love of the art of baking and decorating.

We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable Sales Associate for our store in Plantation. The ideal candidate would be someone who can engage customers and cultivate relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and engage customers assisting with their needs. Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and company services to our customers.

• Guide customers, sharing knowledge and experience to increase customer loyalty.

• Open and close the store front, perform end of day procedure.

• Assist in maintenance of showroom merchandising, inventory, catalogs, website, and other related sales materials.

• Provide online and phone customer service

• Exercise professional independence in all responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS

MUST:

• Have Experience in baking and cake decorating.
• Fluent English speaker (Spanish or Portuguese a plus)
• Retail experience desired, but not a must.
• Sales associate should be friendly, assertive, enthusiastic, self motivated and have a positive outlook.
• Excellent reasoning and verbal communication skills
• Independent and able to multi-task
• Superior customer service skills
• Exceptional work ethic and professional commitment
• Ability to communicate clearly and illustrate a sincere interest in helping clients.
• Ability to be a team player who understands the value of mutual goals and responsibilities.
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs, stand for long periods of time and climb a 3 step ladder.
• Flexible shifts schedule (M-F) and availability to work Saturdays.
