The Caregiver's role includes providing hands on care, with physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like setting.
Some responsibilities include:
- Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety
- Maintaining cleanliness of residents’ rooms, common areas & work areas
- Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating)
- Engaging and participating with residents in group and one-on-one activities
