Mary Mountain Home Care is non-medical home care and staffing business in Los Angeles, CA. We are consistently looking for experienced Caregivers, Direct Support Professionals (DSP), Home Health Aides (HHA), Home Care Aides (HCA), Personal Care Attendants (PCA), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and Senior Companions to join our non-medical home care team.

We have a current opening for an experienced caregiver to work weekends. We have two different shifts available which include the morning/day shift and evening/overnight shift.

Ideal candidates will have experience working with adults with intellectual and/or physical, is comfortable driving a personal vehicle or company provided vehicle, owns a cell phone and a computer. Caregiver duties and responsibilities can include and are not limited to:

• Assisting with personal care: bathing and grooming, dressing, toileting, and exercise.
• Basic food preparation: cooking, preparing meals, shopping, housekeeping, laundry, and other errands.
• Driving to medical appointments, running errands, & social activities
• Grocery Shopping/Prescription Pick-up
• Companionship, conversing, mental stimulation activities
• Inform and provide updates concerning client's condition, provided care, and changes in care requirements.

Qualifications

• Passion for caring for adults and/or elderly adults with temporary or permanent disabilities.
• Caregiving experience is preferred; however, we do welcome inexperienced individuals with a passion for helping and caring for people.
• Experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) with 1st and/or 2nd year certification preferred.
• Current TB test, current physical, Valid CPR card, (within 30 days of hire)
• Current First Aid/CPR Certification
• To maintain Fully Vaccinated COVID-19 status, one must get a Booster Shot within the required time frame established by the CDC OR if not, a documented religious/medical exemption.
• Ability to pass a background check, reference check, and drug screening
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, proof of auto insurance
• Live Scan (DOJ & FBI)
