Full Circle Home Care is seeking experience caregiver in the Mental Health field to work in the Glen Burnie/ Handover/Linthicum Heights area. We have day, night, over night shifts available in the Anne Arundel County area. Must be able to pass a background check. Caregiver will work at multiple clients at various of locations.

Mental health assistants have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

• Providing support to clients during therapy sessions, such as keeping time or taking notes
• Helping clients create a schedule and sticking to it by assisting with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Providing basic health care services such as changing bandages or administering medication
• Observing clients’ behaviors and reporting concerns to the therapist
• Participating in group therapy sessions with clients, including leading discussions or acting as a peer counselor
• Assessing clients’ mental health needs and developing treatment plans with their input
• Communicating with clients’ families, schools, employers, and other community members who may be involved in their care.
• Providing support to patients during hospitalization, including helping them eat, bathe, and use the toilet.
• Providing emotional support to patients in need of comfort or companionship
