Part-Time CDL Class B Driver

MUST have a Passenger and Air Brake Endorsement

16 hours per week

8 hour day with weekends included

Starting at $18.00/hour with potential increase within 60 days based on performance!

The Driver position is responsible to assist residents at Lakewood by transporting them to and from local physician appointments. The driver position will also transport residents to and from trips outside of Lakewood and will also include trips circling the Lakewood property in the Lakewood shuttle.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a current driver’s license in good standing through the state of Virginia.
• Must possess a current CDL license with an air brakes endorsement that is in good standing through the state of Virginia.
• Must perform a physical to maintain a CDL license as required.
• A Department of Motor Vehicles License is required if driving applicable Lakewood vehicle.
• Must possess good communication skills.
• Must possess the physical strength to push, lift, and store assistive devices.
• Must possess a good geographic knowledge of the Richmond metropolitan area.
• Must have the ability to deal tactfully with staff, residents, family members and professional offices in a positive, professional manner.
