Center Manager Job Description

The Center Manager runs and oversees the daily operations of their specific Center. Complete training is provided in all areas other than computer skills, but prior experience in a pregnancy resource center is a plus. Some weekend work is required.
This is a part-time position.
Qualifications
- Exhibit commitment and dedication to the pro-life position held by the Women’s Help Center
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess ability to direct and take command of client counseling sessions, remaining focused and able to handle crisis situations, if presented
- Ability to train, manage, and direct center staff and volunteers
- Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Knowledge and competence working with computer software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Responsibilities
- Conduct client intake and counseling sessions
- Assess client needs and make referrals, if appropriate
- Ensure security and confidentiality of data
- Handle phone and in-person client inquiries
- Provide all requested monthly reports to Executive Director in a timely manner
- Oversee Center Angel Closet organization and weekly distribution
- Seek out passionate pro-life volunteers on an ongoing basis
- Develop and work on special projects, as needed
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with area churches (parishes and respect life organizations) and businesses to promote mission of WHC and garner support for the ministry
- Attend functions, when invited, and speak to groups about WHC, as needed
- Assist in all aspects of ministry functions, as requested by Executive Director
