Central Control Operator Job at COUNCIL FOR AIRPORT OPPORTUNITY
Council for Airport Opportunity (CAO) is a non-profit organization that supports the airport community with its talent acquisition needs. CAO has a proven track record for sourcing and staffing the right talent for top companies at JFK, Newark, and LaGuardia Airports. The Central Control Operator will work onsite at EWR Airport.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Central Control Operator Technician is responsible for safety and efficiently entering, exiting and diverting trains through Automatic Train Control (ATC), power distribution and communication systems.
- This position is responsible for the day to day support of customer service through effective communications.
- The Operator will maintain of balances headway’s, buildups and reductions.
- The Operator will ensure the effective utilization of emergency and failure management strategies; as well as support of maintenance through efficient implementation of the Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) Procedures and Guideway clearances while adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Must be reliable and available to work varied hours, weekends, and holidays
