Firehouse Heating & Air of Rockwall, TX is looking to hire a full-time Certified HVAC Technician to go into our clients' homes to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair their heating and cooling systems, as well as complete assigned preventative maintenance. This position is perfect for someone who can work closely with customers to provide exceptional customer service and support in resolving their individual heating and cooling needs. This Certified HVAC Technician position earns $85,000-$95,000/year plus opportunities to earn commissions, and works a full-time Mon-Fri, 10 hour/day work week with on-call hours that include nights, weekends, and holidays. REQUIREMENTS FOR A CERTIFIED HVAC TECHNICIAN:
- At least 5+ years of experience as an HVAC technician
- Strong steady work history with 3-5 years minimum as an HVAC technician
- Professional appearance
- High school diploma or GED
- EPA and State certified
- TDLR Certification
- Current driver's license with a clean driving record
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Strong communication skills
- Participate in an on-call rotation schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays
- Motivated to further your career as a skilled HVAC Technician

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CERTIFIED SENIOR HVAC TECHNICIAN:
- Residential customer service experience, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills
- Exhibit professional conduct at all times, whether at the job site or driving company vehicles
- Maintain any necessary licenses or certifications which may apply
- Future-focused and work hard to maintain all certifications and seek to expand your knowledge and expertise in the industry
- Have good communication skills, including the ability to express technical information in layman's terms
- Can accurately use technological resources, including an iPad, required forms, reports, and data entry in a timely
- Write Proposals and Service tickets
- Maintain equipment and inventory in your truck for maximum efficiency
- Can perform the physical requirements of the position including lifting at least 75 pounds and climbing into and out of small spaces (Attics, crawl spaces, etc.)
- Work with and train any HVAC helpers who may be assigned to work with you
- Respectful of others and their personal property.
- Attend required department meetings
