Certified Medical Assistant Job at Urology Associates, Inc.
Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients, collecting patient information.
- Data entry in EMR.
- Vital signs.
- Medication administration and injections.
- Returning patient phone calls, scheduling, and working with EMR.
- Assisting with in-office procedures (eg. vasectomy, cystoscopy, circumcision, voiding trials)
- Strong organizational skills.
- Catheterization and phlebotomy.
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant or equivalent school.
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistants preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and observation skills.
- Takes initiative.
- Works well in a team.
- Must be able to multitask and float between multiple doctors in the clinic.
