Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Location: Olympia, WA to Lacey, WA
Pay Rate: $24/hr
Job type: Contract to hire after 13 week contract
Overview:
Our group of Primary Care and Specialty outpatient clinics is seeking a motivated and reliable Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to float to a variety of clinics and find their FTE home with a specific clinic in the long term.
Responsibilities:
- Floating to a variety of clinics (primary care and specialty)
- Rooming patients, taking histories, and vitals
- Administering injections (depending on the clinic)
- Assisting with minor procedures
- In-basket and MyChart messaging
- EPIC charting
Qualifications:
- Must have a Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) credential
- Must be flexible to go to a variety of clinics and have a reliable means of transportation
- Must have a cell phone that accepts texts for daily assignment
- EPIC experience preferred but not required
- Compassionate and excellent customer service skills are essential
Benefits:
- Contract to hire opportunity, with 480 hours as a contract employee
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm (hours depend upon the clinic)
