We are looking for a detail-oriented, friendly Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant to work in ourOrthopedic Clinics. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 8a to 5p. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced work environment, is comfortable juggling multiple tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver the highest quality service in a non-judgmental and non-discriminating manner, sensitive to patient and coworker needs
• Contribute to the team-oriented environment by demonstrating cooperative, constructive, problem-solving interaction with coworkers
• Room and take vitals on patients; take patient phone calls
• Suture/staple removal, cast application and removal
• Scheduling surgeries, cleaning and stocking exam rooms

Requirements:

• Current Certified Medical Assistant Certification
• Previous experience in a clinical setting
• Outgoing and friendly personality
• Strong verbal and computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office and EMR systems
• Reliable, punctual, courteous, flexible, and a fast learner
• Ability to tolerate frequent physical activity (sitting, walking, standing, stooping, carrying, talking, seeing, bending, handling); ability to lift up to 40 lbs on an occasional basis
