Prairie Ridge Health & Rehabilitation is a 102 bed comprehensive skilled nursing facility that provides 24/7 nursing and rehabilitative services in Overland Park Kansas. Our facility provides post-acute care to those who have recently experienced a hospitalization or illness, long term care, respite, and hospice services.

Our facility is seeking a dependable and motivated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) who is passionate about working with seniors in long-term care. This position is responsible for administering and documenting medications given to our residents under the direction of a licensed nurse. The candidate must also possess a valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification as well as the state approved Certified Medication Aide Certification. The successful applicant will be compassionate, resourceful and capable of managing multiple responsibilities at once.

We are hiring for days, evenings, and nights. PRN and Part-Time welcome to apply!

Days 7am-3pm

Evenings 3pm-11pm

Nights 11pm-7am

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications as ordered by the health care provider.
• Document and record all medications in the EMR.
• Answer resident call lights and provide ADL assistance if needed.
• Communicate with and care for patients in a way that enhances their experience.
• Work with medical staff to plan and coordinate care to ensure that services are provided in a timely, effective manner.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
