NAV Capital Consulting is in search of a proactive and motivated CPA with excellent interpersonal skills, who is confident in leading a team and engaging with clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join our fast-growing Accounting and Financial Services practice.
Requirements:
- At least three years of experience in US taxation, with preference given to those with a CPA or EA certification
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with various tax software
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience with the Employee Retention Credit (ERC) is an asset
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all aspects of tax matters are up-to-date
- Prepare and review tax deliverables
- Collect information and prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports
- Recommend and implement accounting policies and procedures to maintain accounting controls
- Coordinate activities and provide guidance to accounting clerical staff
- Analyze account information to reconcile financial discrepancies
- Verify documentation and request disbursements for payments
- Establish accounts, post transactions, and ensure compliance with legal requirements by maintaining records of financial transactions.
There will be an opportunity to work from home at times.
