Our child care center is seeking a Child Care Assistant that is reliable and friendly to work with children of all ages. The ideal candidate will possess child development knowledge and experience with children that are 6 weeks-age 12 , as well as academic and personal experience working with a group of children. This position requires the successful candidate to have patience and understanding, which will be beneficial in the classroom in addition to one-on-one interactions with children. The ideal candidate is required to pass a fingerprinted background check and complete health and safety training online.
Responsibilities:
- Care for children in a safe and healthy environment.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement.
- Help children learn new skills and develop social skills.
- Teach basic life and social skills to foster independence.
- Teach children the importance of good hygiene.
- Be neat,, organized, and have a pleasant personality.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $9.87 - $10.39 per hour
