We're looking for Childcare Providers who care about helping children succeed in the classroom, and we have openings available right now! Responsibilities include working closely with teachers, monitoring children closely to ensure their saftey and well being, and bathroom/lunchbreaks.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit a variety of natural, spontaneous and playful responses from children to develop their social, emotional, cognitive and physical well-being.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to children in need of it.
- Treat all children not only as if they were your own, but as if they were your best friend in the whole world.
- Model "caring" behavior to safe-guard the emotional health of the children entrusted to you.
- Read stories and play games with children.
- Teach songs and finger-plays.
- Teach respect for adults and other children.
- Teach the importance of cooperation, sharing, and helping others.
- Encourage children to share toys with one another and practice taking turns so that they can learn how to get along in life.
- Listen attentively when they speak.
- Answer questions patiently.
- Talk with them about what's on their minds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
