Saginaw Psychological Services, Inc. is an outpatient clinic serving the mental health and substance use needs of adults and children throughout the tri-cities. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for the individuals, families and communities that we serve.

Overview

Our agency is seeking a motivated, energetic, mental health child and family therapist. In this role you will have the opportunity to become part of a strong multidisciplinary team, working to serve our community. Together, we assist consumers with developing person-centered goals ( developing hobbies, building supports etc.) while maintaining a healthy life style. As a child and family therapist, you will be able to work with a diverse population while learning about community resources and expanding your clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Foster and maintain professional relationships with referral sources
• Linking consumers to appropriate resources in the community.
• Coordinating with different professionals and agencies that serve our consumers
• Monitoring treatment and medications
• Advocating for our consumers to ensure equality and reduce the stigma of mental health/substance use.

Requirements

Applicants must have a Masters in Social Work or equivalent to

Applicants must have a Michigan Social Work license or equivalent.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Play Therapy Training is recommended
