Morrison Mahoney LLP seeks a civil litigation attorney with 2 to 4 years of experience for its Springfield, Massachusetts office.
Requirements:
Experience in the following practice areas:
- Tort and employment law.
- Medical malpractice litigation.
- Health care law (including criteria for guardianships, conservatorships, and involuntary commitments).
Qualifications:
- Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar, or sufficient UBE score to be admitted to the jurisdictions.
- 2 to 4 years of civil litigation experience (maximum).
- General courtroom experience and familiarity with the rules of court in the superior, district, and probate courts.
Applicants should be self-starters with solid research and writing skills, and a strong academic record. Position offers immediate exposure to litigation, including drafting motions and memoranda, conducting legal research, drafting and responding to discovery, preparing for and attending depositions.
Salary: $90K - $110K
