Stockbridge Financial is a venture-backed wholesale automotive buy and sell technology start up. We use AI and automation and we’re already the 9th largest bidder at the largest automotive auctions in the US. We aim to grow in market share over the next year, and we are looking for help within our vehicle operations team. We are a small team across multiple time zones working together to become the best option for buying and selling at auto auctions. Our corporate ethos is simple: work hard and have fun. We are seeking an automotive titles and claims specialist to support our relationship with the auction and improve our titles processing time. The opportunity comes with the ability to scale hours and job responsibilities, due to the very nature of joining a fast-growing company. This opportunity can stay small or grow with you. Position is part-time, although full-time may be considered for the right candidate. Training provided, though 1-2 years of experience in the auto industry is required.

Some of the functions of the role include:

• Monitoring and maintaining accurate records for each arbitration case
• Interacting with auction leadership and support to resolve any issues with purchase, such as title issues, mileage issues, or any inaccurate representation of vehicle condition
• Negotiate for a best-resolution on any disputed vehicles in an effort to keep vehicles sold
• Report any title discrepancies

Some of the skills required:

• Attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication and organization skills required
• Effective report writing and composition skills preferred
• Fluent in the use of common software tools, such as Excel or Zoom, along with a proprietary inventory management system
• Some working knowledge of laws and policies regarding arbitration of vehicles required

The role will grow with the right person, and can expand to include project management, supervisory responsibilities, and/or input to business or technology to increase growth and efficiency.

The position is hourly and expected to be part time, between 20-32 hours per week. Hours are flexible, but will generally align with an 8-5 work day. The position is fully remote.
