Mission Montessori is currently seeking cleaners to keep our school in San Francisco's Mid-Market neighborhood sparkling clean, sanitized, and beautiful. The ideal candidate will be reliable, take pride in their work, and have the ability and desire to communicate courteously and effectively with our team.

This is a part-time position. Hours are flexible, but cleaning will need to happen every day from Monday to Friday and begin on or after 5:30pm.

Responsibilities

• dusting, wiping down, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and polishing a variety of surfaces in our classrooms, office spaces, restrooms, kitchens, storage areas, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, elevator, staircases, and hallways
• emptying trash, recycling, and compost containers
• restocking supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap
• keeping inventory to let our facilities team know when supplies are low
• returning furniture to its original position
• completing special cleaning projects as needed
• following health and safety regulations
• ensuring building is securely locked

Qualifications

• experience as a cleaner
• ability to handle large/heavy equipment and machinery
• ability to work independently
