SUMMARY

Responsible for ensuring accurate weight standards are maintained for all fabric, open stock paper and BTY trim articles within the SAP system. Contributes to Company shrink goals and perpetual accuracy goals by ensuring an accurate weight standard that drives the physical inventory process. Total Number of Active Weighable Articles = 30,000 - 50,000. Total Number of New, Audited or Reset Weight Standards Set = 7,000 - 10,000 per year.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

• Physically locates product in the DC and performs process to obtain accurate weight standards.
• Works with the Supervisor of PI in reviewing weight standards not maintained within the previous 2 years to identify outdated weight standards. Performs an audit of these old weight standards to ensure the accuracy of the standards.
• Identifies daily receiving activity from SAP and compiles a list of articles that need weight standards set. Track updates and progress in Daily Weight Standards Spreadsheet. Tracks daily and reviews weight standards productivity performance with Management.
• Performs additional audits on Inspection Report weight standards and notifies Physical Inventory Management of any discrepancies.
• Performs weight standard audits to ensure accuracy of weight standards based on audit criteria agreed upon with Internal Audit. Researches weight standards out of tolerance.
• Performs additional audits on weight standards based on special request as determined by Physical Inventory Management.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Able to work effectively for significant periods of time in a location with little interpersonal contact
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for a minimum of 6 hours per day

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Word, Excel
• Strong ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Ability to lift 20 - 50 pounds
• Must be able to lift between 20-50 pounds unassisted

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education Minimum: High School Diploma

Experience Minimum: 0-2 years Professional office, retail inventory or distribution center experience
