- Assists practitioner in performance of procedures, telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient record and relaying test results. Provides safe and quality nursing care under the direction of SHS practitioners and the Clinic Supervisor within scope of practice.
- Recommending treatments to ease symptoms, manage chronic conditions or cure illnesses
- Educating patients about self-care and lifestyle changes that can contribute to the success of a treatment
- Monitoring patients’ ongoing conditions and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Supervising and coaching other members of the care team to coordinate care for patients
- Updating patient medical records and ensuring that medical information is accurate and kept private
