Clinical Director- Crisis Stabilization

Leadership role with responsibility of guiding Howard Center's crisis stabilization programs including 24/7 hospital diversion, social detox, and public inebriate programs. Responsibilities include: developing core clinical competencies of staff; training and staff development aligning best practice and client care; and supporting program operations or policy development to support the needs of clients, staff, and programs in our system of care.

Responsibilities:

• Best practice development for staff
• Provide administrative and clinical supervision
• Provide community-based trainings and maintains partnership liaison relations
• Assist with program operational functions, including hiring, contract or compliance, outcomes, budget, policy, or program initiatives
• Participate in after-hours on-call and supervisory coverage

Requirements:

• Master's degree
• Vermont clinical licensure in good standing and ability to supervise others toward licensure
• Driver's license and use of a personal vehicle
• 3- 5 years in related combination of mental health and/or substance use services field, to include both direct service and supervisory experience
• A strong understanding of Vermont's mental health system of care and determining appropriate level of care

• Salary starting at $72,238
