Summary:
Provides technical supervision and training to subordinate-level staff members; performs simple and complex laboratory test procedures in a timely manner as assigned; obtains and interprets data for diagnosis and treatment of disease; performs related laboratory technology duties.
Starting salary for this position is $70,647 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
1. Possession of a full license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York; or
2. Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or a related health care discipline and eligibility for full licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will have previous experience in a clinical laboratory, experience in Bone Marrow/Hematology, knowledge of medical and anatomical terminology, is proficient in the use of MS Office applications and have excellent customer service skills.
