We are hiring IMMEDIATELY for a Behavioral Health Clinician to join one of our community mental health providers!

Summary:

Residential Behavioral Health Clinicians provide co-occurring, individual, group and family treatment services, and oversee the case management and care coordination activities for a caseload of adolescents in the residential treatment program. Clinicians work in collaboration with the client, client’s family and the treatment team to implement developmentally appropriate evidenced based clinical interventions and trauma-informed therapies that promote resiliency and improved behavioral and symptom management. Clinicians implement and oversee the residential milieu's Clinical model/mindset and behavior management program (Collaborative Problem Solving) and ensure its delivery is in alignment with best practices, is strengths based, and is developmental in design.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Master’s degree in Counseling/Behavioral Health/Social Work
  • Experience and Advanced Training in Trauma and Family Treatment
  • Competent in performing screening, clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment of substance use and mental health disorders.
  • Competent in providing effective evidenced based individual trauma therapy, family therapy, group therapy, developing treatment plans, suicide assessment, safety plans, crisis intervention, behavior management, case management and care coordination.
  • Working knowledge of differential diagnosis of common mental health and/or substance abuse disorders and experience with evidence-based psychosocial treatments and brief behavioral interventions (e.g. motivational interviewing, collaborative problem-solving etc.)

Preferred:

  • Professional Licensure (LPC, LMFT, LCSW)
  • Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC I, II or III)
  • Personal lived experience with MH and/or SUD and recovery or a family member.

Must have a compassionate nature.
