Lost Rail in Gretna Nebraska is located just outside the Omaha/ Elkhorn area. In the area there is nothing on the map quite like Lost rail, a place that blends the exclusivity and intimacy of a destination course with the convenience and character of a classic club. We are looking for enthusiastic servers and bartenders to provide an exceptional fine dining experience for our small membership. Our main focus is quality of service, not quantity which will provide members with an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve dinner and drinks
• Present menu, answer questions, assess customers’ needs and preferences, make recommendations regarding food and drink menus
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Restock and replenish bar and halfway house inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Prior fine-dining service and bartending experience is desired
• Knowledge of wine and cocktail making, garnishing and serving is a plus
• Maintain positive attitude and communicate effectively with managers, members and their guests, and co-workers
• Ability to keep the bar and service stations organized, stocked and clean
• Bust be able to politely and professionally handle member/guest complaints
• Be physically able to reach, bend and stoop. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Be able to work in hot, cold, humid and loud environments for long periods. Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

Education/ Experience

• Ideal candidates are professional, motivated, efficient, and organized with a positive attitude and mindset.
• Candidate must be 19 years of age at the time of hiring
• Highschool Diploma, or GED required
• Previous experience at an upscale restaurant, hotel/resort, or private club is a plus.

Pay: $12.00 - $45.00 per hour
