SHIFT: Days 5:00 am – 3:30 pm M-TH
PAY: $20.00 - $24.00 DOE

Job Description:
Under close supervision, responsible for operating machinery and performing tasks related to the production and installation of Collars and Collars systems at SAFE Boats International.

Responsibilities:
Performs all job tasks to safety standards- Performs all job tasks to quality standards
- Performs all job tasks within expected timelines
- Sews parts and patterns
- Assembles components using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Under some supervision, operates CNC cutting table to cut non-skid, carpet and fabric
- Laminates and forms foam parts
- Uses hot air welder to make fabric products
- Operates Radio Frequency welder with minimal supervision
- Assists in collar installations.
- Assists in Rhino foam collar fabrication
- Prepares and packages finished products for shipping or delivery
- Responsible for general shop clean-up.
- Provides suggestions to leadership regarding process and continuous improvement
- Problem solves minor challenges/issues
- Provides minor work instructions and re direction to newer Team Members
Skills and Experience:
Working knowledge of hand and power tools and equipment.- Safely operate personal tools and shop tools.
- Ability to accurately read and utilize a Tape measure.
- Follow basic drawings and measurements to assemble & fabricate products.
- Properly identify where to locate parts or information
- Understand how to find and interpret basic work instructions
- Follows verbal and written direction from Leads, Supervisors and Managers
- Follows company policies consistently
- Experience with upholstery a plus
- Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role/field preferred

Educational Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent. Trade School or College level training a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Position requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, crawling, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to complete tasks. Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
